If you’ve been stressed out, it’s time to get the zen you would get on vacation except right from home!
I believe that self care is so important whether you are on vacation or at home. Too many of us reserve self care for vacations. That’s why this week I’m sharing my tips on how to get that vacation zen right from home! I’ve personally been using these resources to find my zen on this week 💆🏻♀️
5 Tips for Vacation Zen (without going on vacation)
- Take a break from the news & social media. When you are on vacation, you turn off electronics to fully appreciate the destination. Take that same approach and turn it off! - Move your body! On vacation you can take advantage of a resort’s yoga classes, hikes, or wander endlessly. Apply this mentality to today! Schedule time to move your body. Need some inspiration? Check out Civana Wellness Resort’s 10 minute yoga flow here.
- Pamper yourself. Here’s a body scrub inspired by Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort. Mix the following ingredients in a bowl, close your eyes and escape to the shores of St. Lucia or somewhere else
- Brown sugar – 3 tablespoons
- Honey – 2 tablespoons
- Coffee – 1 tablespoon
- Olive oil or Coconut oil – 4 to 5 spoons
- Essential oil – a few drops to add scent

- And lastly find ways to laugh! Just a tiny bit of humor can go a long way. 😂😅
